Ph.D. - Research Investigator, Human Genetics Meisler Lab - University of Michigan - USA
I received my Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology at Wayne State University. At graduate school I mastered a variety of techniques in Genetics, Biochemistry and Molecular and Cellular Biology. I have publications at peer-reviewed journals, book chapters and conferences. Some of my first-author publications were highlighted by editors. I also received an interview from scientific publication group regarding my paper. My constant effort in research awarded me the best Graduate Research Assistant award, a few best poster awards and travel awards.
I am currently working as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Pharmacology at University of Michigan. My current project focuses on elucidating how phosphorylation affect the structure and enzymatic function of our protein of interest. I have learned and mastered many essential techniques related to protein expression, purification and characterization. I am still being trained to be a capable protein scientist.
